most memorable Aidilfitri I've had. the most njoyable one. beraya from one house to another despite not knowing who's house we're heading to, we're still greeted with an open arms and wide-warm smiles..that's the special thing about hari raya in Perth. Even though it's still sad not having my whole family to be here with me, I appreciate those people here that have made my Aidilfitri a great one=) making me feel so welcomed and feel like I have big family here. thanks. (i noe that won't be enough).
With lot's of open houses, and mkn2..special dishes cooked by evryone, as usual lah, me, the big eater and my empty stomach feel very happy=D hehe. Those who did car-pooling for evryone so that we can go raya together, u guys sgt berjase..seriously, those were tremendous help. without that, it wont be as much fun.
I waited until 11am to call malaysia.
yup, hearing the voices i've missed, for the first time after so long, and since it's hari raya, sayu hati.. and my umi's sobs on the other line, reached deep within my heart. the loud-cheerful background noise were comforting. Abah's first line when he picked up the phone, we love u ngah..how i miss them. the sound of my lil sister bergaduh to hve her turn to talk to me, just like how she used to be at home.
Baru hari raya ke3, i'm sure my family in malaysia is still celebrating and pegi beraya to my cousins place. here, uni life started oready..exam is drawing near..I hope syawal will bring berkat to evryone.
