Passion for Food #1

i think, i should be a cook. or a cafe owner. i think la.

i'm fasting today and when i'm fasting, these always flow in my brain - food recipes.=D

now i felt like i'm harvesting saliva (excuse me - literally ya) myself by putting this up.

I've been thinking what could go best with potatoes - CHEESEEEE, Rosemary and Black Pepper! (imagine the cheesy wedges from KFC - urgh, I'm torturing myself to death now).

I'm making an oath to myself that when i'm back from offshore, i'll cook this!


  • mash some potatoes (like u're doing mash potatoes laaa)
  • add some rosemary and black pepper
  • make it into a ball and dip it inside yellow egg. put it aside.
  • take a cheese slice (any cheese dpends on ur likes) and wrap the potatoes.\
  • when you're done, it imagine it will somehow appear dim-sum-ish.
  • lastly, wrap the whole thing with a spring roll skin and fry! fry! fry! - try putting homemade chilli sauce or thai sweet chilli as finishing touch (or yummy-ier if you can get the sos yg they put on top of popia basah tu topped with ground nuts!) *menagis dan bunuh diri trus*


In my head, I'm picturing the end result will be spicy and crunchy from the outside, soft and warm potatoes covered with melted cheese flowing into ur mouth.

Thank God I'm offshore now. (i'll put up the photos when I've tried it myself but i'm sure it will be sedap nk mmpus - thanks to rase lapa membuak2 sbb puasa)
